Did you know that The Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron (RNSYS) is North Americas oldest yacht club?  That doesn't mean that they don't know how to keep up with enabling technology though. Recently they chose Norex as their trusted partner to build an online system that would allow them to better communicate with their members and we delivered.

The Challenge
The client had an old dated static website that worked for the purpose of providing basic information about RNSYS. They knew they wanted to do more for their members online and saw the opportunity for them to turn their website into a hub of activity for the club members. They knew they needed to be able to update the content on their site on a daily basis themselves and they didn't want to hire a full time web developer. They also wanted to have a sophisticated calendar of events and event registration system to better communicate all the amenities the club has to offer. In addition, they used a specialized piece of software to track race results and they wanted to know if there was some way they could link it into the website if possible.

The Solution
Starting with a whole new creative approach, we came up with the contemporary look and feel for the new brand and seamlessly integrated all the dynamic components into back end of the site.  Like all sites we build, we used our search engine friendly CMS and also included a photo gallery, calendar of events, event registration, secure members area, and a custom module for the special race results XML data so that it could be easily used by the members online.
